Penn State Harrisburg community forum to discuss child abuse
An upcoming community forum at Penn State Harrisburg will discuss understanding and reporting child abuse. The event is free and open to the public.
The event will be held from 11:50 a.m. to 1:20 p.m. on Jan. 31, in the Morrison Gallery in the campus' library.
"Understanding and Reporting Child Abuse" will provide information on -- and the opportunity to discuss -- understanding, reporting and preventing child abuse and neglect, and how these issues affect the campus community. Speakers will include Linda Meashey, staff psychologist in the Counseling and Disability Services Office at Penn State Harrisburg; Tina Phillips, training director with the Pennsylvania Family Support Alliance; and Kevin Stoehr, chief of Safety and Police Services at Penn State Harrisburg.
