Thank you for visiting Progress.psu.edu. Communicating transparently and broadly around the difficult events of the past year is a top priority for Penn State as we work to move forward. With that objective in mind, we have created “Progress,” a new informational website for Penn State students and their families, alumni, faculty and staff, prospective students, local communities, and media. Here, you will find information on ongoing legal matters and updates on our initiatives to address the serious issue of child abuse. You will also find content about our ongoing commitment to remain a world-class academic and research institution.

With a number of new features and functionalities that make it easier to find, receive and share information, this site is a next iteration of our original “Openness” website—and one that we hope will facilitate clearer lines of communication. Specifically, you will find social sharing features, an email subscription function, RSS capability, feature stories and content that is searchable by topic, keyword and tags to increase ease of navigation. The original “Openness” site will remain accessible for reference via this site.
